Role Overview

Order Taker – Saudi National position at Marriott International.

Role Purpose

Deliver memorable and unique guest experiences by providing a wide range of services during dining transactions, including table setup, kitchen communication, guest interaction, service delivery, and workspace maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Delivery

• Take initiative to serve guests and ensure they enjoy their meal.
• Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner throughout their dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding orders and guest needs.

Operations & Maintenance

• Set tables according to service standards.
• Clean work areas and supplies to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required.

Workplace Standards

• Create and maintain a safe workplace environment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards consistently.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications at all times.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and visually verify information, including menu content.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces safely.
• Strong communication skills with guests and kitchen staff.
• Hands-on work approach and attention to detail.
