Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant

Role Overview

Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant at Emrb. This is a mid-level consultant role requiring 3–5 years of relevant Oracle Fusion Finance experience.

Role Purpose

Support Oracle Fusion Finance implementation and support projects through functional configuration, business requirement gathering, testing, and end-user support across the full suite of Oracle financial modules.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

• Support Oracle Fusion Finance implementation and support projects.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financial modules including GL, AP, SLA, Tax, FA, and CM.
• Participate in business requirement gathering and fit-gap analysis sessions.
• Assist in preparing functional design documents, setup documents, and testing scenarios.

Testing & Issue Resolution

• Support integration testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution activities.
• Work closely with technical consultants for issue resolution and reporting requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end finance process activities.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare reports using Oracle Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) and standard Oracle reports.
• Analyze financial business processes and recommend Oracle best practices.
• Understand Oracle Financial reports and reconciliation.

Data Management

• Assist in data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Maintain project documentation and status updates.

User Support & Training

• Provide support to end users and conduct basic user training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion Financials.
• At least 2 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementation experiences.
• Good understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Finance configuration and support.
• Experience in testing, issue analysis, and user support.

• Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP).
• Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Intercompany.
• Oracle Tax.
• Oracle Fixed Assets (FA).
• Oracle Cash Management (CM).
• Oracle Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
• Understanding of accounting concepts and financial processes.
• Very good communication and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn.

Additional Information

• Experience with Oracle Fusion reporting tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle implementation methodology is preferred.
