Role Overview
Operator (Field Operator I) at Weatherford UAE in the Oil & Energy industry. This hands-on role undertakes tasks utilizing Weatherford's equipment, machinery, and systems, applying techniques and practices to complete assignments using technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
Role Purpose
Play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with the Company's policies, regulations, and industry best practices while supporting field operations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Protection
- Maintain a strong commitment to Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection, prioritizing responsible care and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Operations
- Adhere to Weatherford's policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Place Practices.
- Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment, following specific work instructions and adhering to training and competence levels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in maintenance processes, including unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, assembly, loading, and storage of tools.
- Complete necessary documentation for all maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 0–1+ years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work long hours in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and cooperate with other crew members.
- Good communication level and English speaking and writing.
- Ability to follow work schedule discipline.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Willingness to travel and work at various well sites as needed.
