Role Overview
Operator - Finishing Machine at Al Ghurair. This role involves setting up, configuring, and operating a range of finishing machinery in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate Kolbus perfect binders, Muller Martini saddle stitchers, folding machines, sewing machines, and Wholemberg gathering machines.
- Operate cutting machines as part of finishing production.
- Set up and configure automatic die cutting machines based on job specifications and material type.
- Set up and configure foiling machines based on job specifications and material type.
- Set up and configure embossing machines based on job specifications and material type.
- Set up and configure Brausee folder gluer machines based on job specifications and material type.
- Set up and configure bag fabrication machines (Champion) based on job specifications and material type.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor output for binding strength, stitching accuracy, fold precision, and cutting alignment.
- Conduct visual and manual checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of machines.
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Identify and escalate mechanical issues or misfeeds to the foreman or maintenance team.
