Role Overview
Operator - Finishing Machine at Al Ghurair. This role involves setting up and operating a range of finishing machines in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Set up and operate Kolbus perfect binders, Muller Martini saddle stitchers, folding machines, sewing machines, and Wholemberg gathering machines.
- Operate cutting machines as part of finishing workflows.
- Set up and configure automatic die cutting, foiling, embossing, Brausee folder gluer, and Bag fabrication machines (Champion) based on job specifications and material type.
Quality Control
- Monitor output for binding strength, stitching accuracy, fold precision, and cutting alignment.
- Conduct visual and manual checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of machines.
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Identify and escalate mechanical issues or misfeeds to the foreman or maintenance team.
