Role Overview
Operator - Finishing Machine at Al Ghurair.
Role Purpose
Set up, configure, and operate automatic finishing machines including die cutting, foiling, embossing, folder gluer, and bag fabrication equipment. Monitor production output for quality and accuracy while maintaining equipment and reporting issues to support continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Setup and Configuration
- Set up and configure automatic die cutting, foiling, embossing, Brausee folder gluer, and bag fabrication machines (Champion) based on job specifications and material type.
Quality Monitoring
- Monitor output for binding strength, stitching accuracy, fold precision, and cutting alignment.
- Conduct visual and manual checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
Maintenance and Equipment Care
- Perform routine cleaning of machines.
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
Issue Identification and Escalation
- Identify and escalate mechanical issues or misfeeds to the foreman or maintenance team.
