Role Overview
Operator at Napco National. The position is responsible for running production lines safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company procedures.
Role Purpose
Operate production machinery to deliver high-quality finished goods on schedule while maintaining safety, minimizing waste, and supporting team-wide quality and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste averages and producing the best quality outcome reachable.
- Set the machine properly and perform size changes.
- Verbally inform the Lead Operator and the Line Setter of any problem that occurs on the machine.
Quality Assurance
- Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure conformity of product requirements with standard finished goods specifications.
Production & Reporting
- Fill in the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.
Housekeeping & Material Handling
- Ensure proper cleaning of the line during the shift and month close.
- Ensure proper handling of raw material received, returned, or transferred to and from the Raw Material warehouse.
- Make sure all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw material are in their dedicated place.
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with and follow safety and environmental instructions.
- Participate in toolbox talks given by the HSE officer.
- Consult and participate at all applicable levels and functions in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and actions for improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety management system.
