Role Purpose
Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste averages and producing the best quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Set the machine properly and perform size changes.
- Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste averages and producing the best quality reachable outcome.
- Fill in the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.
Quality Assurance
- Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure conformity of product requirements with standard finished goods specifications.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Ensure proper cleaning of the line during the shift and month close.
- Ensure proper handling of raw material received, returned, and transferred to and from the Raw Material warehouse.
- Make sure all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw material are in their dedicated places.
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with and follow safety and environmental instructions.
- Participate in toolbox talks given by the HSE officer.
- Verbally inform the Lead Operator and the Line Setter of any problems that occur on the machine.
- Consult and participate at all applicable levels and functions in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system.
