Role Overview

Operator at Napco National. The role centers on running production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and supporting the production team.

Role Purpose

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards, managing raw materials, and ensuring workplace compliance. Support the Quality Inspector in verifying product conformity with finished goods specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Machine Management

• Set the machine properly and perform size changes.
• Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining a low average of waste.
• Produce the best quality reachable outcome.

Quality Assurance

• Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure the conformity of product requirements with standard finished goods specs.

Production Reporting & Administration

• Fill in the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.

Housekeeping & Materials Management

• Ensure proper cleaning of the line during the shift and month close.
• Ensure the proper handling of raw material received-returned from-to Raw Material warehouse.
• Make sure all finished goods pallets, waste bin, waste trolley and raw material are in their dedicated place.

Communication & Problem Resolution

• Verbally inform the Lead Operator and the Line Setter of any problem that occurs on the machine.

Safety, Health & Environment

• Comply and follow safety and environmental instructions.
• Participate in toolbox talks given by the HSE officer.
• Participate in consultation at all applicable levels and functions for the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system.
