Role Overview

Operations Officer - Transfer Unit at ADIB, based in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

The Transfer Operations Officer ensures smooth daily operations without major hurdles and delivers strong client service to support ongoing business continuity. All work is carried out within defined policies, procedures, and SLAs/agreed timelines. The role protects the Bank through appropriate source documents, legally enforceable charge documentation/securities, and monitoring via follow-up systems for routine actions.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process Management

• Ensure assigned roles and responsibilities are adequately followed and completed on time with no compromise on defined policies, procedures, and controls
• Review cases from Booking to Mortgage perfection and complete tasks within the functional framework
• Accomplish pending cases in due course
• Ensure all mortgage and transfer cases are processed as per policy guidelines
• Complete file conversion from Advance to Ijara within agreed TAT
• Maintain tracking MIS of each case process at respective Emirates
• Possess in-depth knowledge to handle the Home Finance End-to-End process from login until disbursement

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain high standards of customer service management
• Manage transfer/registration at land department by coordinating with ADIB customer and sales teams to process property registration appointments at land department
• Ensure the schedule of appointments confirmed to sales/customers for registration of properties in respective land departments is followed
• Visit banks for buyout payments and collection of documents

Government Programs

• Handle mortgages for government housing programs such as ADHA and SZHP

Governance & Improvement

• Report issues identified in any process to the line manager on time for timely escalation and resolution
• Provide assistance to Manager in formulating, updating, and implementing SOPs for the department and enhance SOPs to bring more control

Qualifications & Experience

• Thorough understanding of Islamic Products

Skills & Competencies

• Thorough understanding of Bank Policies and Product Knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
