Role Overview
Operations Associate at Miral Destinations, Abu Dhabi. The Operator will oversee the entire operation of a ride or attraction, including the safety and wellbeing of all colleagues and guests at that particular ride or attraction.

Role Purpose
To oversee the safe, efficient, and guest-focused operation of rides and attractions, managing teams, operating machinery, and delivering memorable experiences while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Safety Management
- Ensure all rides and attractions startup and closedown procedures are completed correctly.
- Check all ride restraints, safety belts and attraction equipment properly to ensure guests are safe and comfortable at all times.
- Check safety equipment including fire extinguishers, emergency exits and emergency routes.
- Be able to use the ride stop and emergency stop functions effectively and confidently.
- Ensure clean and safe environment.
- Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Handle and lead ride downtimes and emergency situations as and when required.
- Oversee the safety of all colleagues and guests at a particular ride or attraction.
Guest Experience & Queuing
- Organize and regulate queuing systems for all rides and attractions.
- Ensure height measuring is conducted accurately and efficiently.
- Explain, distribute and fit ride safety clothing to guests that require it.
- Ensure that guests load and unload from rides and attractions safely and efficiently.
- Deliver fun and memorable experiences to the guests.
- Communicate clearly with guests, colleagues and management at all times.
Operations & Facilities
- Ensure ride platforms are organized for operation.
- Open and close the rides and attractions to guests.
- Record all details of the daily operation of a ride or attraction including downtimes, throughputs and colleague breaks.
- Ensure that the daily ride documentation is kept up to date, tidy and accurate.
Additional Duties
- Perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Speak and understand English language.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a passion for guest interaction and communication.
- Higher secondary or equivalent (desirable).
- Speak and understand Arabic language (desirable).

- This position requires a large amount of time spent standing and talking on position.
- Ability to stay focused at all times during long shifts and quiet or busy periods in the park.
