Role Overview
Operations Assistant I at KBR, reporting to the Foreman or General Foreman.
Role Purpose
Provide hands-on operational support across construction, maintenance, and plant production activities, ensuring work sites are prepared, materials are managed, and all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Site Preparation and Construction
- Move materials and equipment to work locations.
- Set up work sites.
- Prepare construction sites.
- Pour and spread concrete.
- Set forms.
- Finish surfaces.
Maintenance and Production Support
- Participate in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects and activities.
- Support plant production activities in receiving and shipping materials and products.
Administrative and Housekeeping
- Complete records.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Perform clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Safety and Compliance
- Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Wear required personal safety equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Typically no special knowledge or experience is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Skills may be acquired through on-the-job training.
Additional Information
- Receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.
- Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.
- Performs other duties and activities as directed.
