OFFSHORE MARINE COORDINATOR

Role Overview

Offshore Marine Coordinator at NMDC Group.

Role Purpose

Ensure vessel compliance, safety, and environmental standards across offshore marine operations by conducting surveys, verifying personnel competency, investigating incidents, and monitoring corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

Surveys & Compliance

• Conduct vessel condition and suitability surveys.
• Perform pre-vetting surveys and ensure compliance with client and ADNOC requirements.
• Conduct on-hire spot checks.

Vessel & Personnel Certification

• Review marine personnel competency certificates and Certificates of Competency (COCs).
• Review vessel class and statutory certificates.

Incident Management

• Investigate marine incidents and accidents.
• Monitor corrective actions.

Subcontractor Oversight

• Review subcontractors' Marine Management Systems for safe and environmentally compliant operations.

Vessel Preparation

• Follow up on vessel preparations and close-out observations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles or industries.
• Experience with ADNOC Abu Dhabi preferred.
• Valid Master Mariner Class 1 – Unlimited certification.
• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Limited Master's License may be considered for candidates with extensive ADNOC field and project vessel experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of STCW, ISM, IMO, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
• Strong knowledge of flag-state requirements.
• Strong knowledge of client requirements.
