OFFSHORE HSE INSPECTOR

Role Overview

Offshore HSE Inspector at NMDC Group. The role incumbent will work under the guidance of Compliance Manager to conduct internal HSE audits and gap analysis on board vessels, ensuring full compliance with ADNOC / ARAMCO client standards on NMDC Energy owned vessels.

Role Purpose

To manage HSE compliance implementation across NMDC Energy's fleets, bridging between approved NPCC HSE procedures and standards while ensuring that the highest levels of standards are achieved and maintained on offshore barge operations.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Coordination

• Perform barge audits to ensure marine units engaged on projects meet all contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of the audit schedule of the barges.
• Conduct internal HSE audits and gap analysis on board vessels to ensure full compliance with ADNOC / ARAMCO client standards.

Compliance Verification

• Ensure timely readiness of vessels engaged on projects from a compliance standpoint.
• Inspect barge certificates and ensure all are correctly formatted and up to date.
• Ensure barge equipment is compliant with latest rules and regulations.
• Ensure all HSE fixed or mobile equipment (LSA / FFA) as per approved safety plan are inspected as per ADNOC HSE / ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Verify the correct implementation of company lifting standards and quality procedures on-board barges.

Audit Execution & NCR Management

• Conduct audits on-board the vessel and identify the NCRs for close out action.
• Based on audit report related NCRs, generate Root Cause analysis with relevant departments to avoid recurrence.
• Ensure that Corrective actions are generated for lessons learned program.
• Discuss identified Gap Analysis for foreseen actions.
• Share final Close out to compliance manager for review and acceptance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

• Attend all client inspections on-board the barges and create good working rapport with the client inspectors.
• Educate field personnel on rules and regulations and statutory requirements to guarantee a continued high level of compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
• Minimum 06 years' experience in Onshore and Offshore in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Expert understanding of offshore operations, personnel and equipment.
• Well versed knowledge in ADNOC / ARAMCO HSE standards.
