Officer Airside Operations Training

Role Overview

Officer Airside Operations Training at Abu Dhabi Airports. The role supports the Senior Officer Airside Operations Training in conducting competency checks, maintaining training records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of training programs across all airside operations functions.

Role Purpose

To enhance operational safety and staff competency across all airside operations functions by assisting in the planning and delivery of training programs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with ICAO and GCAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Assessment

• Assist the Senior Officer Airside Operations Training in planning, conducting, and completing staff competency checks.
• Serve as a training assessor across all airports.
• Deliver training courses on behalf of the Senior Officer Airside Operations Training during their absence.
• Participate in training audits and provide required documentation to regulatory authorities.

Training Materials & Development

• Support the development and updating of training materials, checklists, and competency frameworks in line with ICAO Annexes and GCAA CAR requirements.

Record Keeping & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff training, certifications, and assessments.
• Monitor training compliance to ensure staff meet mandatory regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on training activities, compliance status, and identified training gaps.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with Training & Development (TD) and Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) for the scheduling, delivery, and follow-up of training activities.

Safety & Operations Support

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring training aligns with operational safety standards and industry best practices.
• Support Airside Operations activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Training, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in airside operations, safety, or training.
• Familiarity with ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CAR Part IX, and other applicable aviation regulations.
• Knowledge of competency-based training and assessment methodologies.
