Odoo Functional & Technical Consultant

Role Overview

Odoo Functional & Technical Consultant at Dallah Albaraka. This is a single-resource role requiring both functional and technical expertise to support and enhance the Odoo environment, with particular focus on Accounting and HR modules.

Role Purpose

Deliver end-to-end Odoo support by analyzing business processes, configuring standard features, developing technical solutions, and managing the system lifecycle from user support through data integrity and future integration readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Configuration & Support

• Analyze business processes and configure standard Odoo features, prioritizing standard configuration over customization.
• Support and enhance Accounting and HR modules including Employees, Payroll, Leaves/Time Off, and Self-Service.
• Provide user support, issue resolution, and basic end-user training.
• Act as a single point of contact for both functional and technical support.

Technical Development & Customization

• Perform technical development including custom modules, workflows, and automation.
• Customize forms, views, and reports using QWeb/XML as required.
• Manage data activities including imports, cleanup, and basic migration.
• Prepare the system for future integrations by architecting for APIs and external system connectivity.

System Management & Governance

• Monitor system performance, user access, and data integrity.
• Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Odoo best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Odoo with strong functional and technical expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting and HR/Payroll processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end responsibilities.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo framework.
• Ability to communicate in Arabic (nice to have).
• Experience with KSA payroll (nice to have).
• Experience in multi-company environments (nice to have).
• Experience with system integrations (nice to have).
