Role Overview
OCN Monitor/Escort Lead Dispatcher with Intrepid Global Solutions, deployed overseas.

Role Purpose
Provide day-to-day supervision and task management of a team up to 20 Escorts, ensuring safe operations, adherence to site policies, quality standards, and mission success through experience, problem-solving, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Team Management
- Supervise day-to-day operations of a team up to 20 Escorts.
- Provide general supervision of team to ensure work is completed for the day.
- Demonstrate skill in supervision and emphasize experience in related positions and activities.
- Develop and improve processes and resolve conflicts to ensure mission success.
Escort Operations and Monitoring
- Ensure team of Escorts adequately execute monitoring of uncleared personnel (LN/OCN) into areas and monitor personnel while performing work.
- Make on-the-spot corrections as required.
- Ensure Escorts are properly verifying LN/OCN personnel are logged in and out and personnel counts are performed before and after they perform duties.
- Have a thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the Escorts.
Site Operations and Security
- Ensure the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LN/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
- Maintain a safe workplace, in coordination with the Site Manager (SM) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM).
- Ensure all local base escorting policies are followed by the team.
- Ensure site policies are followed and quality standards are met.
Training and Compliance
- Provide training as required to ensure Escorts fully understand and comply with site policies and Escort responsibilities.
- May have detailed knowledge of local mission and site policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Communication and Conflict Resolution
- Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
- Maintain strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to lead a team to consensus.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and listening.
- Interact with staff at all levels from LN/OCN to senior executives.
Accountability and Coordination
- Use Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, such as Vehicle Control Officer or In Country Liaison.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of supervising ten or more personnel.
- At least two (2) years of prior experience working overseas.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities to achieve team goals.
- Proven supervisory skills to include effective planning, organizing, directing, and controlling with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
- Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Additional Information
Security and Clearance
- US Citizenship required.
- Valid US Passport preferred.
- Physical (hard copy) valid US Driver's License with clean driving report required.
- NACI/Public Trust security clearance required.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Kuwait.
Work Schedule and Travel
- May have to work a multitude of shifts (nights, days, evenings).
- 100% travel; deployed overseas.
