Role Overview
OCN Monitor/Escort position with Intrepid Global Solutions. This is a 100% deployed overseas role requiring escort and monitoring of un-cleared Local National and Other Country National personnel.

Role Purpose
Escort un-cleared Local National and Other Country National personnel into designated areas, monitor their activities during work performance, and ensure compliance with all security, safety, and procedural requirements while maintaining situational awareness and force protection.
Key Responsibilities
Escorting & Monitoring
- Perform a wide range of Local National/Other Country National (LN/OCN) escorting coverage.
- Make contact with LN/OCN personnel at designated entry facility after they are processed for entry and receive their exchange badges.
- Provide briefing to LN/OCN personnel on rules and procedures.
- Escort LN/OCN personnel until daily work is completed, the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel, and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
- Maintain sight of all vehicles and personnel when performing LN/OCN escort duties.
Security & Contraband Prevention
- Ensure LN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband items (weapons, drugs, etc.).
- Alert appropriate personnel of any suspicious behaviors or comments of LN/OCNs.
- Maintain an alert state of readiness and be prepared to properly respond to any situation that may occur.
Personnel Management & Logging
- Log in and out all LN/OCN contractors.
- Count personnel before and after they perform duties.
- Notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
- Notify Project/Site Manager and Safety staff as soon as possible of unsafe working conditions.
Safety & Welfare
- Provide for safety and welfare of oneself and escorted personnel, such as evacuating to protective shelter in case of attack.
- Ensure proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.
General Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- US Citizenship required.
- Valid US Passport (preferred).
- Valid US Driver's License with good driving report.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa at host nation.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Skills & Competencies
- Situational awareness and vigilance in high-security environments.
- Ability to brief personnel on security procedures and rules.
- Sound judgment in identifying and reporting suspicious activity.
- Ability to maintain composure and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
