Role Purpose
The Network Administrator serves as a technical expert in network administration for complex networks. You will investigate and analyze the feasibility of network requirements, develop network hardware specifications, and identify and resolve issues that arise with networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Plan and implement technical design, high-level fine-tuning, and recovery procedures for enterprise network systems
- Investigate and analyze feasibility of network requirements and develop network hardware specifications
Installation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and upgrade network devices including switches, routers, wireless devices, and related hardware and software in LAN/WAN environments
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair or resolve network, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
- Identify methods and solutions for network problems
Governance & Compliance
- Adopt the PWCT IT security standard
- Follow instructions from Team Lead or Manager and execute assigned work
Additional Duties
- Execute any other related duties or projects assigned by the direct supervisor to meet business exigencies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role and environment
- CCNA or CCNP certification; certifications related to troubleshooting and diagnosis tools are an added advantage
- Kuwait driving license
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge in network hardware infrastructure, diagnosis, and troubleshooting abilities
- Good working experience on L2/L3 switches, routers, and wireless devices
- Knowledge and experience in security solutions and IDS/IPS (added advantage)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting routing protocols including RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF, and knowledge on BGP
- Knowledge and experience with VOIP and tunneling protocols such as IPSEC and GRE
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage
- Capacity to deal with complex problems with ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Adaptive to sudden schedule changes
- Able to work well within teams
