Role Purpose

Lead the integration and promotion of UAE National Identity, heritage, and values across Bateen World Academy. Develop and implement structured community outreach programs that strengthen relationships with parents, local authorities, and community partners. Serve as the key contact for community-related initiatives and government-led programs, ensuring all activities align with regulatory expectations and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

National Identity & Cultural Integration

• Lead the integration and promotion of UAE National Identity, heritage, and values across the organization.
• Embed Emirati cultural elements within school programs and activities.
• Support curriculum teams in integrating National Identity themes.
• Ensure all activities align with regulatory expectations (ADEK / MoE) and internal Aldar Education standards.

Events & Initiatives

• Coordinate annual calendar of UAE national events (National Day, Flag Day, Commemoration Day, etc.).
• Oversee planning and execution of national events and culturally significant initiatives.
• Represent the organization at cultural and community events.
• Coordinate participation in government initiatives.

Community Partnerships & Engagement

• Develop and implement structured outreach programs that strengthen relationships with parents, local authorities, and community partners.
• Build partnerships with local government entities, NGOs, and community groups.
• Organize volunteering and community service initiatives.
• Facilitate parent and student participation in outreach programs.

Staff Development & Emiratization

• Collaborate with HR / P&C to support Emiratization initiatives.
• Organize cultural awareness workshops for expatriate staff.
• Support engagement with national talent programs where applicable.

Communications & Branding

• Ensure branding and messaging reflect UAE values and heritage.
• Maintain documentation of all initiatives and partnerships.

Reporting & Analysis

• Monitor National Identity compliance indicators and prepare reports.
• Track participation metrics and community impact.
• Prepare quarterly reports for leadership.
• Manage allocated budgets related to outreach and National Identity activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in public relations, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in community engagement, Government relations, or Public relations.
• School experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• UAE National with strong understanding of national identity, culture, and traditions.
• Good understanding of UAE regulatory environment (ADEK / KHDA / MOE).
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks, and respond to simultaneous requests from various areas.
• Ability to initiate and manage change in the work environment.
• Ability to identify problems, achieve effective solutions, resolve conflict, motivate staff, foster collaboration, and promote sound decision making.
• Flexibility, patience, and egalitarian approach.
