Role Purpose

Support the production and editorial workflow of a new, innovative multiplatform show by shaping compelling, platform-optimized content and supporting daily production operations. This role helps develop a high-profile show that blends real-time digital engagement with dynamic weekly linear broadcast, collaborating closely with the Executive Producer and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership & Alignment

• Support the Executive Producer in Doha and ensure all content aligns with CNN's editorial principles and connects with a global audience.

Team Management

• Oversee and mentor a team of content creators, producers, and technical colleagues, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

Content Production

• Supervise all phases of content creation, from story development and scripting through filming, editing, and final delivery.

Multiplatform Strategy

• Ensure cohesive storytelling across digital, social, and linear platforms to maximize audience engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in television, digital production, or journalism, with a proven background in editorial leadership.
• Strong experience in live broadcasting, long-form storytelling, and digital news content production.
• Solid understanding of multiplatform content strategy, including digital, social media, and traditional TV formats.
• Experience with CNN digital workflows is an advantage.
• Experience working in a global media environment, with an understanding of international storytelling trends.
