Role Overview
MRI Radiographer position at King's College Hospital London – Dubai, a world-class healthcare environment seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional with strong background in MRI imaging to join the advanced Radiology team.
Role Purpose
Deliver high-quality diagnostic MRI imaging with particular expertise in Cardiac MRI, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining strict adherence to international standards and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Imaging
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations with particular focus on Cardiac MRI.
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment in line with departmental protocols and international standards.
Patient Care & Safety
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and excellent clinical care throughout the imaging process.
- Ensure all MRI safety protocols are strictly followed, including screening of patients and staff.
Collaboration & Protocol Development
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, radiologists, and the wider clinical team to optimize imaging workflows.
- Assist in developing and maintaining cardiac MRI protocols and quality assurance processes.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory and hospital guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience, including hands-on experience performing Cardiac MRI.
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in a JCI-accredited hospital (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
