Role Overview
Mobility Planning - Horizontal professional at JASARA PMC, responsible for developing comprehensive master plans related to transport and urban planning, specifically focusing on horizontal mobility solutions.
Role Purpose
Contribute strategic expertise to the planning of transportation networks, ensuring they are efficient, accessible, and sustainable. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and urban planners to create integrated transport solutions that accommodate the growth and development of urban environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement master plans for transport systems in urban planning projects.
- Forecast future transport demand and create strategies to meet these needs.
- Analyze current transport systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development of policies and plans to promote sustainable and equitable transportation options.
Analysis & Assessment
- Conduct analyses of existing mobility patterns and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze complex data and perform feasibility studies for transportation projects.
- Monitor trends in transportation technology and urban development to suggest innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Consultation
- Engage with stakeholders, including governmental agencies, community groups, and private sector partners, to gather input and support for mobility initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and public consultations to discuss mobility planning strategies.
Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions with urban design.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision-makers.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all planning activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in mobility planning, transport planning, master planning, and urban planning.
- Experience in master planning and horizontal mobility solutions.
- Strong knowledge of transportation systems, urban development processes, and related regulatory frameworks.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to analyze complex data and perform feasibility studies for transportation projects.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, such as GIS and traffic modeling applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and engage with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices related to urban transportation is a plus.
Additional Information
- Pure Elevator experience is not preferred.
