Role Purpose

Develop and maintain production-quality Flutter applications for iOS and Android that serve field operations and customer-facing use cases, integrating with enterprise backend systems and delivering reliable, offline-capable mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Coding

• Develop, test and maintain features in Flutter/Dart for iOS and Android apps, following agreed architecture and coding standards.
• Build field-ready functionality such as offline data capture, photo capture and annotation, QR/barcode scanning, forms and checklists, and location tagging.
• Implement polished, responsive UI for the customer-facing B2C app from Figma designs, with attention to performance and usability.
• Write unit and widget tests, fix bugs, and take part in code reviews.

Integration & Backend

• Integrate apps with backend services, including Salesforce and custom REST APIs (.NET/Node), Firebase (Auth, Firestore, FCM, Crashlytics) and third-party partner APIs.
• Handle local storage and data sync, including error handling and retry logic for poor connectivity on site.

Release & Quality

• Support app releases to the App Store and Google Play, including builds, testing and release notes.
• Investigate crash reports and user feedback, and resolve issues promptly.

Collaboration & Planning

• Work with QA, Operations and Customer Service to understand workflows and turn them into working features.
• Give accurate estimates for your tasks and take part in sprint planning and stand-ups.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of mobile development experience, including at least 2 years building production apps in Flutter.
• At least 1 app published and live on the App Store and/or Google Play (please include links).

Skills & Competencies

• Good working knowledge of Dart, Flutter widgets and layouts, and at least one state management approach (Bloc, Riverpod or Provider).
• Experience consuming REST APIs, handling JSON, and implementing authentication (token-based / OAuth).
• Hands-on experience with Firebase services, especially push notifications and crash reporting.
• Experience with local storage (Hive, Isar, SQLite/Drift or Shared Preferences).
• Comfortable with Git, pull requests and branching workflows.
• Basic understanding of the iOS and Android build and release process.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication in English.
