Mobile App Engineer - Team Lead at SIHAMCO, a strategic partner operating under the General Entertainment Authority, National Events Center, Riyadh Season and Jeddah Season. The role is based in Saudi Arabia.

Brands are registered across the GCC and internationally in the United Kingdom, Egypt, Morocco and other regions. Several exciting new concepts and brands are currently under development with launches planned in the coming months.

Role Purpose
Lead a team of software engineers through the full software development lifecycle while designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable, and innovative solutions across the full technology stack. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead a team of software engineers through planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Architecture & Development
- Architect and develop scalable, reliable, and secure systems using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems.
- Design and implement software solutions that are scalable and performant.
Collaboration & Requirements
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define system requirements and specifications with cross-functional teams.
Code Quality & Standards
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Enforce coding standards across the team.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
DevOps & Optimization
- Implement DevOps strategies, including CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
- Optimize code and system architecture for efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Improvement
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, proposing effective solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the development process.
Qualifications & Experience
- Deep expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
- Proficiency in database design and administration.
- Solid understanding of modern software architecture.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in microservices architecture, including synchronous (REST/gRPC) and asynchronous (Kafka, RabbitMQ) communication patterns.
- Knowledgeable in ITIL and SDLC standards.
