Role Overview
Merchandiser at Napco National. The role involves managing shelf visibility, product pricing, positioning, and conducting call cycles across assigned trade accounts.
Role Purpose
Maintain optimal shelf presentation, product availability, and pricing accuracy across all point-of-sale locations. Ensure brand visibility and compliance with merchandising standards while supporting sales performance through regular customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Shelf Management & Visibility
- Install point-of-sale materials at all customer locations.
- Implement sales planograms and maintain shelves according to shelf rent agreements.
- Ensure all company products in all sizes and packings are present and visible on shelves.
- Remove damaged or dirty packets from shelves and return defective items to the company.
Pricing & Compliance
- Verify correctness of all shelf prices and price tags.
- Perform price fishing when required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Report competitor movement and market activity to the merchandising unit head.
- Fill customer cards completely and accurately.
- Conduct monthly inventory of all point-of-sale locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum high school degree.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar or related field.
