Role Purpose

Monitor and optimize product sales performance, stock availability, and merchandising effectiveness to minimize revenue loss and maximize customer engagement and conversion at point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Stock Management

• Monitor sales performance and identify losses or stock wastage.
• Manage order processing and timely delivery communication with suppliers and distributors.
• Minimize revenue loss and ensure uninterrupted stock availability.

Market & Customer Intelligence

• Collect and consolidate market and customer feedback.
• Report feedback to the immediate Manager in a timely manner.
• Enable informed and responsive sales decision-making.

Display & Visual Merchandising

• Arrange and manage stock display and rotation to optimize space utilization.
• Maximize product visibility and sales potential across all display areas.
• Assess the effectiveness of product displays and store layouts.
• Drive continuous improvement in customer engagement and conversion at point of sale.

Competitive Analysis

• Review competitor brand presence, including pricing, in-store marketing, and promotional activity.
• Inform competitive positioning and protect market share.

Industry Knowledge & Strategy

• Maintain a thorough understanding of merchandising trends and industry best practices.
• Ensure the organization's merchandising approach remains competitive and current.
• Apply a proven track record in merchandising strategy and promotional activity.
• Consistently deliver measurable improvements in sales results.

Administrative & Compliance

• Maintain and manage invoices, Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and delivery orders in line with company guidelines and processes.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit-readiness across all transactions.

Vehicle Management

• Manage and maintain vehicle logs.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in UAE as Merchandiser (retail).
• Relevant experience in merchandising (B2B food or retail).
• Experience in Fruit & Vegetable category is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills, including speaking and listening.
• Strong time management abilities, including planning and prioritizing workloads.
