MEP Site Engineer

Role Overview

MEP Site Engineer at AL GIHAZ HOLDING. Location: Different locations in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

Supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation works on site, ensuring quality execution, coordination between trades, and compliance with specifications through testing, inspection, and handover to consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Air Conditioning Works

• Supervise installation of air conditioning works.
• Oversee installation and insulation work for duct and all chilled water works.
• Supervise installation of FCU (Fan Coil Units) and AHU (Air Handling Units).
• Monitor installation of primary and secondary pumps for chilled water systems.

Firefighting & Plumbing Systems

• Monitor installation of firefighting works including all pipe sizes, water sprinklers, and fire pumps.
• Ensure installation of plumbing and drainage works including all pipe sizes and accessories.

Building Management Systems & Coordination

• Control installation of BMS works to coordinate between all mechanical and electrical works during operation.
• Coordinate with engineers from other departments during project implementation to avoid errors.

Project Assessment & Testing

• Assess project needs and materials required for the project.
• Conduct necessary tests and measurements to prepare work for handover to the consultant.

Documentation & Administration

• Prepare reports and receive works from subcontractors.
• Process invoices for subcontractors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–9 years of experience in HVAC projects with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
