Role Overview
MEP Facility Engineer position at Burjline Builders, located in Qatar. This role requires a highly experienced professional with strong MEP background and previous facility management experience.
Role Purpose
Oversee the maintenance and operation of facilities to ensure they are functioning efficiently and effectively, while maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Inspections & Maintenance Planning
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any facility-related issues.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair work.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Create and maintain accurate records and reports for all facility-related activities.
Budget & Operations Management
- Manage and monitor the budget for facility maintenance and operations.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide leadership and guidance to the facility maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Valid UPDA Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in Facility Management (FM) required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong MEP background.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
