Role Purpose

This role focuses on design review, technical submissions, and coordination to ensure that mechanical systems are properly detailed, approved, and aligned with project specifications and site requirements. You will work closely with project managers, consultants, procurement teams, and site engineers to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design Review & Submissions

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Track submissions, approvals, and maintain organized project records.

Coordination & Technical Alignment

• Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Respond to RFIs and liaise with consultants for approvals and technical clarifications.
• Assist site teams with technical guidance and updated documentation.

Procurement Support

• Support procurement by reviewing supplier quotations and technical data sheets.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working with a general contracting company in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and work within project deadlines.
