Role Overview
Mendix Developer at BlackStone eIT. This role is based on-site and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
Role Purpose
Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using the Mendix platform while collaborating with business stakeholders and development teams to create efficient solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Deployment
- Develop and deploy applications using the Mendix platform.
- Customize and integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and databases.
Stakeholder & Requirements Management
- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain and improve existing Mendix applications through bug fixes and feature enhancements.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document development processes, architecture, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with Mendix platform features and enhancements to leverage best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mendix Developer or similar role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Mendix platform and Mendix Studio/Studio Pro.
- Experience with integrating applications using REST APIs, web services, and database connectors.
- Good understanding of Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
