Role Overview

Medical Equipment Sterilization Technician at Nahdi in Riyadh.

Role Purpose

A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and infection.

Key Responsibilities

Decontamination & Sterilization

• Decontaminate surgical and medical instruments.
• Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure hospitals comply with regulations and work to protect patients from any infection.
• Test and perform quality control checks routinely to ensure equipment is running properly.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records.

Equipment & Inventory Management

• Assemble medical equipment.
• Perform equipment inventory and restock supplies when needed.
• Keep tools organized, sort mismatched sets of instruments, and make them available for physicians in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related specialization: chemistry, microbiology, biology, or biochemistry.
• Professional Accreditation Certificate authorized from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Fresh graduate.

Skills & Competencies

• Office computer skills.
• Arabic language.
• English language.

Additional Information

• Work environment: 100% indoors.
• Working schedule: 6 working days per week, 1 day off.
• Working hours: 9 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM with 4 hours break from 1 PM to 5 PM.
