Measurer

Role Overview

Measurer at Al Tayer Group. This role provides support to the estimation department in preparing estimates for tender submission.

Role Purpose

To examine tender documentation, prepare and verify bills of quantities, identify subcontract elements, and deliver all necessary support to enable timely and accurate tender processing.

Key Responsibilities

Measurement and Bill of Quantities

• Examine tender drawings thoroughly to determine the quantity of materials required.
• Prepare bill of quantities where BOQ is not provided by the client and submit for approval.
• Verify BOQ and ensure that all items are measured and captured in the bill where BOQ is provided by the client.

Tender Documentation and Procurement

• Identify subcontract elements in the tender and float enquiries for obtaining quotation.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and prepare bills as per CCS format.
• Assist in compiling necessary tender documents including drawings and BOQs.
• Arrange tender submission on time.

Department Support

• Provide all necessary support to the estimating department to facilitate smooth and timely processing of tender.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in construction discipline.
• Around 1–3 years of experience in construction, with at least one year in interior fit out industry.
