Role Overview
Senior Maximo SME Technical Functional Application Developer at MaxAccelerate. Remote position on a contract basis for 12–24 months, available worldwide. Engagement on a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Purpose
Customize and support IBM Maximo solutions to meet business objectives, ensure system alignment with operational goals, and lead the technical team through a seamless upgrade to MAS 8 while maintaining project milestones and delivering best practice asset management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Configuration
- Customize IBM Maximo solutions to meet business objectives and ensure system alignment with operational goals.
Technical Support and Problem-Solving
- Provide expert technical functional support and guidance for Maximo applications.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address and resolve challenges during the upgrade process.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and deliver best practice solutions in Maximo Asset Management.
Documentation
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards for recording precise changes and implementations.
Project Leadership
- Guide the technical team to meet project milestones and schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years as a technical functional resource in IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management, particularly in Maximo upgrades and business application requirement and design management.
- Proficiency in IBM Maximo 7.x and/or exposure to MAS 8 application configuration and support.
- Experience with the Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT and Cognos report writing.
- Hands-on experience with MAS 8 (preferred).
- Certification as a Maximo Deployment Professional (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Oracle PL/SQL development skills (preferred).
- Cloud Service Provider experience (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) with a strong preference for candidates with Oracle Database experience (preferred).
