Role Purpose
Inspire a love for mathematics and create a dynamic learning environment that promotes student engagement. Develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional lessons that facilitate active learning and meet curriculum standards.
Assessment & Documentation
- Evaluate and document students' academic and personal development through tests, assignments, and observations.
Classroom Environment
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Differentiated Support
- Address diverse learning needs by offering tailored guidance, extra help, or resources to ensure all students succeed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators to share progress, address concerns, and support students' overall development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant subject area.
- Proven teaching qualifications, professional teaching license, or equivalent such as PGCE or QTS.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with exposure to international curricula such as IB or BSO.
- Strong proficiency in the subject matter.
- Well-developed teaching skills and classroom management abilities.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding standards.
- Additional professional development qualifications such as NPQ are considered a strong advantage.
