Role Purpose

Execute masonry works including brickwork, blockwork, stonework, plastering, and concrete repairs according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards while maintaining site safety and coordinating with other trades.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Execution

• Perform brickwork, blockwork, stonework, plastering, screeding, and concrete repairs as per project requirements.
• Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, pavements, and other structural elements.
• Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and other construction materials.

Quality & Compliance

• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution of masonry works.
• Ensure all masonry work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Site Management

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Identify and report defects, material shortages, or site issues to the supervisor.

Coordination

• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Mason in construction projects.
• Experience in blockwork, plastering, tiling, and concrete repair works.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
