Role Overview
Manager - Virtual City at Qiddiya Investment Company. This role provides technical oversight and quality control of digital assets built in Unreal Engine for the virtual city.
Role Purpose
Ensure all digital models—integrating BIM, GIS, and engineering data—comply with rigorous technical standards and file structures. Maintain technical excellence and streamline workflows for digital asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight & Quality Control
- Oversee and maintain the quality and structure of digital models and assets in Unreal Engine.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of model updates from external consultants and designers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital asset integration and modeling.
Standards & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and enforce technical standards for digital modeling, ensuring compliance across all digital assets.
- Implement and execute best practices for asset compliance and digital data management.
Workflows & Documentation
- Establish and maintain robust file structures, workflows, and documentation to support technical compliance.
- Continuously assess and improve technical workflows to enhance the integrity of the digital models.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Game Development, Digital Media, or related field.
- 10+ years of proven work experience in developing real-time 3D applications in Unreal Engine and/or other virtual production pipelines.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong background in BIM, GIS, and the management of complex digital asset structures.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine with extensive experience in digital modeling in the Architectural Visualization field.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and maintain technical workflows, file structures, and compliance documentation.
- Experience with quality control protocols and technical troubleshooting in digital asset management, ensuring high standards of digital models.
