Role Overview

Manager - Training at Al Ghurair, responsible for developing and managing technical training programs across dealer workshops nationwide.

Role Purpose

To develop, execute, and continuously improve comprehensive technical training programs aligned with business goals and OEM requirements, ensuring technicians, service advisors, and workshop controllers meet evolving industry standards and certification targets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technical training roadmap aligned with business goals and OEM requirements.
• Define yearly training calendars and certificate targets for technicians, service advisors, and workshop controllers.
• Manage training budgets and cost efficiency.

Operational Delivery

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality technical training across locations.
• Monitor training effectiveness through post-training assessment, service KPIs, and feedback analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with OEM training teams to ensure curriculum consistency and certificate alignment.
• Act as a technical training liaison for dealer workshops nationwide.

Product and Process Improvement

• Focus on continuously elevating the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of technical training delivery to meet evolving industry, OEM, and customer needs.
• Develop and update technical training programs.
• Improve training delivery methods.
• Standardize training processes nationwide.
• Integrate technical training with service KPIs.
• Conduct training gap analysis and competency mapping.
• Collaborate with OEMs for early technical readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Certified master technician or trainer by a recognized OEM preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of vehicle systems, mechanical, electrical, hybrid, and EV technologies.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, troubleshooting, repair processes, and OEM technical standards.
• Aftersales operations and KPIs.
• Technical training and coaching.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, digital learning platforms, and assessment tools.
