Manager - Supply Chain

Role Overview

Manager - Supply Chain at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Global Retail, Head Office KSA. The role leads and optimizes end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import/export, stock management, and logistics projects.

Role Purpose

To drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth through effective supply chain strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and leadership of supply chain teams and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and expansion plans.

Operations & Execution

• Lead logistics and supply chain projects across warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import/export, and digital operations.
• Ensure proper stock management, availability, and distribution center inventory control.
• Oversee customs compliance and maintain awareness of regulatory changes impacting supply chain operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Monitor project performance through KPIs and ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and audit requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.

Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams while ensuring effective performance management and succession planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related functions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within retail logistics, hypermarkets, supermarkets, retailers, or logistics providers.
• Proven experience leading large-scale supply chain projects and business transformation initiatives.

• Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import/export, and sourcing operations.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
