Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager will be a key member of the Group Supply Chain organization, empowered to transform supply chain operations and shape the future direction of the function. Working closely with the vertical COO, direct reports, business leaders, and cross-functionally across the organization, you will help set priorities, implement best practices, and lead the supply chain transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and implement an effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Lead Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning activities.
- Develop customer analytics and predictive models for improved forecast quality.
Inventory & Fulfillment
- Manage Inventory Management and Fulfillment operations.
- Own Product Life Cycle Management and inventory control.
- Lead Assortment Planning activities.
Supplier & Logistics Management
- Manage suppliers and logistics service providers according to agreed SLAs.
Commercial Analysis
- Conduct sales and commercial planning analysis regarding markdown and price strategies.
Performance & Analytics
- Develop, measure, and continuously improve key Supply Chain Planning KPIs.
- Develop analytical solutions to improve supply chain metrics while accelerating decision-making on commercial planning.
- Leverage Supply Chain Management systems to handle large volumes of data and develop technology-based solutions to manage KPIs routinely.
Transformation & Optimization
- Lead the transformation of the supply chain planning operation in line with or ahead of business demands.
- Increase efficiency while optimizing the cost structure of the supply chain.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of experience within supply chain.
- Background in sales and commercial planning and product life cycle management.
- Experience in FMCG (preferred).
- Engineering degree (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Comfort navigating complexity and nuance across different business segments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with minimal direction in complex business environments.
- Intellectual curiosity and drive to solve large supply chain problems.
