Role Purpose
Support the delivery of the Company Compliance Program in alignment with ADNOC Group Compliance Policy and associated framework. Manage and mitigate ethics and compliance risks including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, third-party integrity, regulatory compliance, antitrust and competition, and international trade controls and sanctions. Implement approved policies and procedures and deliver training and awareness programs.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Administration
- Provide day-to-day support for the implementation of the Compliance Program.
- Administer the annual Compliance plan.
- Contribute to delivery of individual projects within the Compliance Program, including e-learning, compliance platforms, annual declarations, and third-party risk reviews.
- Manage conflict of interest declarations, gifts and entertainment approvals, and compliance training logs.
- Assist the Manager, Governance Ethics & Compliance in reviewing progress on program implementation.
Training & Awareness
- Deliver effective and up-to-date compliance awareness and training programs, including face-to-face and eLearning formats.
- Ensure compliance culture, objectives, and awareness are built through awareness programs and training as appropriate.
- Prepare and deliver compliance awareness campaigns.
Policy & Procedure Development
- Draft ethics and compliance processes, procedures, and guidelines in support of Ethics & Compliance policies.
Risk Assessment & Monitoring
- Support the business in undertaking regular risk-based assessments of key compliance risks most likely to impact the Company.
- Conduct mock surveys, inspections, and investigations periodically to assess staff readiness and identify where corrective actions are needed as part of the Compliance Program.
Investigations & Compliance Culture
- Undertake investigations of allegations of non-compliant conduct as required.
- Endeavor to encourage behavior that positively impacts ADNOC Group in support of its compliance culture, while supporting the Group's zero-tolerance stance on deliberate non-compliance.
Reporting & Other Duties
- Support the Department's regular reporting obligations as necessary.
- Perform other related functions as may be directed by the Manager, Governance Ethics & Compliance from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Internal Audit, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Compliance, Ethics & Compliance, Governance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Legal & Regulatory Affairs.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or people management role.
- Relevant professional certification.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate governance principles.
- Strong knowledge of Anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Conflict of Interest management.
- Compliance monitoring, reporting, and risk assessment frameworks, specifically as referenced within ADNOC's Ethics & Compliance Framework.
