Role Purpose
Lead the origination and execution of investment activities in shipping, offshore, and related infrastructure to drive positive impact on the company's growth agenda and support ADNOC's expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Work with internal divisions including finance, investments, shipping, marine services, and offshore to develop ADNOC L&S's new value proposition as an integrated marine services company in the region.
- Support development of ADNOC L&S expansion and growth plans.
- Engage with external stakeholders to actively investigate industry trends and identify specific growth opportunities within ADNOC L&S's existing businesses or expansion into new areas and geographies.
- Explore opportunities with ADNOC group of companies.
Opportunity Analysis and Evaluation
- Manage delivery of in-depth opportunity analysis to assess initial fit with ADNOC L&S growth and investment agenda and compliance with internal policy and external regulations.
- Ensure all prospective opportunities undergo appropriate first-line due diligence and consistent, accurate review in coordination with various ADNOC L&S divisions.
- Lead colleagues and team members to conduct rigorous analyses including valuation and business case modelling.
- Incorporate well-grounded judgment and balanced persuasiveness to provide detailed guidance and insights.
- Develop and present memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analyses to senior management.
- Compile and create periodic reports on status of various new opportunities, expansion plans, partnerships, and contracts.
Bid Management
- Coordinate with various functions, teams, contractors, and partners to compile required information and documentation for bid preparation while ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.
- Provide support in developing technical and financial bids based on documentation and inputs for new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Shipping, or adjacent disciplines.
- 12 years of experience in shipping and offshore commercial or investment roles.
