Manager, Business Development

Role Overview

Manager, Business Development at First Abu Dhabi Bank - FAB. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on growing Payit Plus through B2B client engagement and account acquisition.

Role Purpose

To drive the growth and development of Payit Plus by achieving business goals around account acquisition and revenue targets through strategic engagement with B2B clients and entities, while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize revenue potential and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy

• Develop and implement effective Payit Plus Salary Proposition strategies aligned with assigned targets and goals.
• Develop and execute salary accounts product growth plans to meet or exceed targets in terms of acquisition, revenue and volume.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including large corporates, institutions, merchants, and other relevant partners.

Sales & Account Acquisition

• Acquire Salary Accounts through B2B engagements with SME and corporate clients.
• Onboard customers in bulk.
• Achieve acquisition and revenue targets from assigned verticals within the appraisal cycle.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize collaboration and business outcomes.
• Become the single point of contact (SPOC) for clients in assigned segments.
• Manage end-to-end relationships with clients in assigned segments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the bank, including employee banking, corporate banking, and business banking, to successfully acquire target accounts through leads generated from them.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline.
• 3 years' relevant experience in the fintech sector or start-ups.
• At least 2 years in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in the business development function.
