Role Overview

Manager, Business Advisory – Buying, Household Concept, Home Centre, UAE, JAFZA. Home Box.

Role Purpose

Partner with the Chief Business Officer and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and cross-functional projects that support growth and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Partnership

• Work as a trusted advisor to the CBO and other leaders to identify initiatives of strategic importance and operational improvements that need to be pursued.
• Participate in the annual strategic planning process and identify key growth levers.
• Review key performance indicators by creating and maintaining dashboards.
• Support internal and external communications, operational support, and interaction with the Landmark Leadership Team.

Direct Support to CBO

• Set the leader's strategic priorities and help identify areas where the leader must direct their focus.
• Strategically manage the leader's time to evaluate opportunities and maintain priorities.
• Prepare agendas for all meetings and review upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the leader has the information needed to be as productive as possible.
• Manage information flow to ensure the leader's involvement in projects or decision-making processes at the right moment.

Relationship Building

• Develop strong connections with those reporting to the leader and others across the organisation to influence outcomes.
• Foster cross-functional perspective to garner support for the leadership team and build long-term partnerships critical to the role's success.

Project Management

• Oversee cross-functional and concept-wide projects or initiatives.
• Bring together multiple stakeholders and help drive decisions.
• Research, benchmark, analyze data, and make recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a similar field from a Tier 1 institute.
• Graduation from batches of 2022 or 2023 only.
• 4–5 years of Retail or Strategy Consulting experience with one of the top international consulting firms.
• Ability to work with CBO/CEO-level leaders on corporate projects, especially in a high-growth environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional analytical skills to understand the key drivers of the business.
• Proven success in a project coordination role.
• Strong communication skills, both in verbal conversations and presentations.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint presentations and Excel modelling.
• Strong eye for detail and process orientation.
