This role is integral to Mashreq's TECH-One Data RBG, UAE department, a key position within MashreqBank.

Role Purpose

Lead the enterprise-wide Data Quality Program, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data across business, compliance, risk, finance, and international banking functions. Drive data integrity and compliance across various functions while implementing, monitoring, and reporting on Critical Data Elements (CDEs) in alignment with Data Governance policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the enterprise-wide Data Quality Program, driving initiatives and strategies.
• Develop and maintain data quality metrics and reporting frameworks.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management.

Data Quality & Governance

• Implement and oversee the monitoring and reporting of Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Ensure compliance with Data Governance policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify and address data quality issues, implementing effective remediation plans.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and methodologies.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Collaborate with business, compliance, risk, and finance teams to understand data requirements.
• Provide expertise and guidance to team members on data-related matters.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Culture & Leadership

• Foster a data-driven culture and promote the importance of data quality across the organization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or a similar role.
• Proven track record in leading and implementing data quality programs.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, data warehousing).
