Makeup Artist at Yves Saint Laurent, Dubai Hills Mall, Chalhoub Group. This role delivers outstanding customer service, applies expert makeup artistry, and achieves sales targets within a luxury beauty retail environment.

Role Purpose
The Makeup Artist is accountable for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing personalized makeup consultations and product recommendations, maintaining high grooming and merchandising standards, and driving sales targets through expert product knowledge and luxury retail service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Service
- Build and maintain guest experience standards to establish strong loyalty.
- Address customer queries regarding products, prices, availability, product uses, and services.
- Communicate with customers to assess their needs and meet or surpass expectations.
- Deliver personalized makeup consultations and application services.
Product Knowledge & Sales
- Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their individual needs.
- Demonstrate usage and benefits of various brands and products.
- Generate sales while achieving line and sales targets using makeup knowledge.
- Provide product recommendations that enhance the client experience.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Track sell-out targets at store level.
- Generate daily sales reports.
- Track post-launch sales at store level.
- Participate in achieving incentives.
Stock & Merchandising
- Ensure merchandising levels in the store are met as per brand guidelines.
- Ensure in-store stock replenishment on appropriate shelves and counters at appropriate times.
- Report stock shortages using the stock order form.
- Ensure stock receipt according to set procedures.
- Maintain counter cleanliness and handle new product launches.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven expertise in makeup artistry, with strong knowledge of complexion, eye, and lip techniques across diverse skin tones and face shapes.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized makeup consultations, application services, and product recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of current beauty trends, luxury retail standards, and premium customer service.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
- High standards in personal grooming.
