Role Overview
Maintenance/Shift Engineer at Hilton. This role is based at a Hilton hotel property and focuses on maintaining the facility's physical safety and functionality while delivering hospitality experiences to guests.
Role Purpose
Support hotel facility maintenance and ensure the physical functionality and safety of the property across guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas while responding promptly to service requests and preventive maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance & Safety
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
Service Request Management
- Respond quickly to guest calls and team member work orders.
Preventive Maintenance
- Assist with preventive maintenance inspections.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs.
Documentation & Reporting
- Document maintenance activities by recording completed inspections and repairs.
- Flag any issues requiring further attention.
