MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Role Overview

Maintenance Technician at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Monitor asset condition and performance data to prioritize maintenance activities, minimize downtime and cost, and restore failed equipment to full operational status while maintaining efficiency across the organization's machinery and equipment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Organization

• Organize and plan work and project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short and long-term objectives.

Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor, collect, and interpret raw data from various sources.
• Evaluate and analyze results and create reports to assist the decision-making process in various aspects of work.
• Observe the state of assets and determine status based on indicators and real-time condition data.

Resource Optimization

• Prioritize and optimize maintenance resources in order to minimize cost and asset downtime while maintaining asset efficiency.

Inspection & Testing

• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress, and finished products using simple to complex lab equipment.
• Verify performance and compliance against standard limits and engineering and procedural standards to uncover and address deviations.

Fault Resolution

• Identify, isolate, and rectify faults so that failed assets can be restored to operational condition and perform their intended function.
• Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when necessary to ensure long-term solutions are implemented.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of the variety of machinery, spare parts, tools, and other items used in NAPCO's maintenance practices.
