MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Role Overview

Maintenance Technician at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Receive and execute repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration tasks from the Maintenance Team Leader to restore machines to working condition and maintain equipment reliability and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

Repair & Troubleshooting

• Receive Repair Request tasks from Maintenance Team Leader and carry out repair activities in accordance with Work Instructions and Machine Manuals.
• Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader assistance in troubleshooting breakdowns as needed.

Parts Management

• Request Spare Parts using the Spare Parts Requisition Form.
• Relay spare parts requests to Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval to ensure adequate spare part consumption.

Documentation & Handoff

• Clean the working area upon repair completion according to Post Maintenance Cleaning Work Instructions to return the area clean and free from work residues.
• Write Finishing Time, task description, pending tasks, and newly discovered findings on the Repair Request Form upon repair completion to document records.
• Seek Production Team Leader feedback and approval on the Repair Request Form prior to submitting to Maintenance Team Leader to ensure Production satisfaction.

Preventive & Scheduled Maintenance

• Receive Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks from Maintenance Team Leader and carry out activities according to set checklists.
• Highlight any new findings for further scheduling.

Calibration

• Carry out In-house Calibration tasks based on Maintenance Team Leader instructions according to set Calibration Work Instructions.

Workplace Standards

• Assume 5S duties according to the set 5S plan to enhance working conditions.
