Role Overview
Maintenance Technician at Napco National. This role is responsible for executing repair, maintenance, and calibration activities to restore and sustain machine functionality.
Role Purpose
Execute corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance activities in accordance with work instructions and machine manuals, ensuring equipment operates at adequate working condition and all documentation is accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities
Repair Execution
- Receive repair request tasks from Maintenance Team Leader and carry out repair activities in accordance with set Work Instructions and Machine Manuals.
- Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader assistance in troubleshooting breakdowns as needed.
- Get machines back into adequate working condition.
Materials Management
- Request spare parts using the Spare Parts Requisition Form.
- Relay spare parts requests to Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval to ensure adequate spare part consumption.
Post-Repair Completion
- Clean the working area according to Post Maintenance Cleaning Work Instructions to return the area clean and free from work residues.
- Write Finishing Time, task description, any pending tasks, and newly discovered findings on the Repair Request Form to document records.
- Seek Production Team Leader feedback and approval on the Repair Request Form prior to submitting to Maintenance Team Leader to ensure Production satisfaction.
Preventive and Scheduled Maintenance
- Receive Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks from Maintenance Team Leader.
- Carry out activities according to set checklists.
- Highlight any new findings for further scheduling.
Calibration
- Carry out in-house calibration tasks based on Maintenance Team Leader instructions and set Calibration Work Instructions.
Workplace Management
- Assume 5S duties according to set 5S plan to enhance working conditions.
